When you want to create more shade or protection from the wind, you may attach this blind to your aluminium pergola and pull it down however far you want. The blind can be lowered or raised at the touch of a button and comes with an ‘auto-stop’ safety function which makes the blind stop should there be any obstruction. With little maintenance required, the blind’s Textilene material can be placed outside all year round due to its complete resistance to the weather. However, we suggest raising the blind in windy weather to let strong winds through the pergola. It is attached by slotting the blind into its side rails and positioning it between the pergola’s posts and beam. The side rails will then need to be drilled using the screws provided to secure the blind to your garden pergola. Please Note: If you plan to install multiple motorised blinds on your pergola, they can be connected to operate from the same power circuit. This must be carried out by a qualified electrician and is not included in the standard installation cost. Each blind is powered independently, so linking them is not required for operation.
