The Palmako Annabel 5m x 3.9m Pent Log Cabin (18mm) combines thick walls with plenty of natural light, making it a comfortable and inviting garden room or home office to enjoy the whole year round. Construction This log cabin is manufactured from fine-sawn, extra-thick 18mm Nordic spruce, and includes readymade wall elements with added wind protection. This makes it easy to construct, incredibly strong and unbeatably weatherproof. Floor and Roof The floor and pent roof are both constructed from 19mm tongue and groove, well-known for its weather resistance, durability and strength. The floor is supported by treated foundation joists for protection from ground moisture, while the roof overhang helps prevent sun glare. Roof Covering Options Please note that the roof does not include a covering. Buy SBS or Roof Underlay Felt as an optional extra. (SBS is a thick, torch-on weatherproof felt with a very long lifespan. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer. Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but should only be used as a temporary roof covering or as an underlay to a permanent weatherproof roof cover upgrade.) Doors and Windows This log cabin features ample glazing, offering views of the garden and light for the interior. The sliding doors are fitted with toughened glass and a key-operated cylinder lock to keep valuables safe from unwanted attention. Two large windows allow plenty of natural light and ventilation into the garden room. They are double glazed with toughened glass, open via a tilt and turn mechanism and include metal water gutters. Assembly and Warranty Supplied with a 5-year manufacturer’s parts warranty, this Palmako log cabin includes instructions and a fixings kit for a straightforward assembly. Timber Treatment This garden building is delivered untreated. It should be coated in a quality wood preservative upon assembly, and annually thereafter, in order to protect the wood from rot and maintain its attractive appearance.
